Advanced Charm Station

The Advanced Charm Station is a Charm Station with a fourth charm slot and a reroll button. It’s where you reshape charms you already have — Legendary ones included — and the only station that can fill every slot on a Nether or End Rod.

To upgrade a station you already own, hold an Advanced Charm Core and shift + right-click an existing Charm Station with it. The station upgrades in place, keeping its position and any rod or charms already inside.

The Advanced Charm Core isn’t crafted from raw materials. It’s the Sacrifice Altar’s reward for a generous Epic tribute (30 kg or more) or any successful Legendary tribute. The same Core is also half the cost of a Nether or End Rod.

You can also craft a new Advanced Charm Station with 3 Gold Blocks, 5 Polished Blackstone Bricks, and 1 Advanced Charm Core. Use Gold Blocks across the top row, Blackstone Bricks on either side of the Core in the middle row, and Blackstone Bricks across the bottom row.

Everything the plain Charm Station does still works here: crafting charms from Fish Catalysts, equipping them on a rod, and combining two charms for a new roll. The fourth slot only matters for Nether and End rods — Reed, Journeyman’s, and Master Angler’s rods still cap at 1, 2, and 3 charms.

The reroll button does a different thing depending on what’s sitting in the station’s slots:

In the slots Result Cost
1 Fish Catalyst alone A fresh, fully random charm of that catalyst’s rarity Free
1 Charm alone Every stat on the charm is rerolled Emeralds
1 Charm + 1 Tuning Crystal Only the numeric values reroll; stat types, their positions, the rarity, and any Legendary effect stay exactly as they were Emeralds
1 Charm + matching-rarity 1 Catalyst Only the side stats reroll; the main stat is kept exactly Emeralds
1 Charm + renamed 1 Paper The charm is set to exactly the stats the Paper names Emeralds

A catalyst on its own is the only free option, and it makes a brand-new charm rather than changing one you hand it. The three options that take an existing charm all cost emeralds.

An ordinary reroll starts at 12 emeralds, increases by 3 for each previous reroll of that charm, and caps at 320 emeralds. A different, never-rerolled charm starts at 12 again.

The station accepts Emerald Blocks as payment and counts each block as 64 emeralds. This is its own payment rule, different from the crafting-table conversion of nine emeralds per block. The ordinary cap therefore costs 5 Emerald Blocks.

Applying renamed Paper has a separate, fixed price: 4,096 emeralds, or 64 Emerald Blocks per application. It does not use the ordinary reroll price.

A Tuning Crystal rerolls a charm’s numeric values without touching anything else about it - stat types, their positions, the charm’s rarity, and any Legendary effect all stay exactly as they were. It’s the way to push a charm’s rolls higher without risking a stat you already like being swapped out.

Craft it at a regular crafting table from 1 Amethyst Shard, 1 Lapis Lazuli, and 1 Emerald - the ingredients can go in any slots. Using it in the station follows the same ordinary emerald cost as any other reroll, and the crystal itself is consumed.

Rename a Paper on an anvil to a comma-separated list of stat codes, then reroll it together with a charm. Instead of random stats, the charm comes out with exactly the ones you listed.

  • List one code per stat slot the charm has: 1 for Common/Uncommon, 2 for Rare, 3 for Epic, 4 for Legendary (or 3 stats plus a Legendary effect).
  • On a Legendary charm, one of the codes may name a Legendary Effect instead of a stat. This chooses an effect on an existing charm. To craft a new charm with a chosen effect, use the Legendary ingredient recipes at either Charm Station. A fully random Legendary roll never produces an effect.

For example, a Paper renamed bs,tc rerolled with a Rare charm produces a Bite Speed + Treasure Chance charm.

rs Reel Speed

lu Lure Conservation
xp XP per Catch
bs Bite Speed
